About

Attorney Daniel C. Fabbri founded Fabbri Law Offices in 2015 with the idea that an attorney is a trusted professional adviser who should approach every legal matter with attention, skill, and a focus on the needs of the client.

Dan has been practicing law as a trial attorney since 2003 and brings years of experience handling matters for both Plaintiffs and Defendants to the table for his clients.  He brings a diverse background, and extensive trial experience to bear when representing each and every client, whether they are an individual, a business, or even a not for profit association.  Dan has spent many years representing the rights of injured victims in personal injury cases recovering millions of dollars for his clients in cases pending in courtrooms across Illinois.  As a trial attorney, Dan has obtained numerous trial verdicts in favor of his clients that have been reported in jury verdict reporters, and has likewise had success with the appellate process on behalf of his clients.  Some of the noteworthy cases Dan has handled include wrongful death and catastrophic injury car accident cases, devastating flooding cases for homeowners flooded out of their homes by the acts of adjacent landowners, as well as matters related to falls in a variety of settings from public places such as casinos and stores, to nursing facilities where elderly residents were not properly cared for. Further, Dan's representation of Plaintiffs is also not limited to just personal injury victims or even the representation of individuals, as Dan has represented numerous businesses as Plaintiffs, and as Defendants, where the health of their businesses hinged on success in cases against those who behaved inappropriately.  Dan has been a trial attorney on commercial cases that include everything from matters related to unpaid bills and unsatisfied contracts to matters of unfair competition and other improper business practices.  It is with this experience that Dan has become both a respected litigator and a trusted adviser to many small businesses faced with legal challenges.

Dan Fabbri also spent extensive time during his career working for a Fortune 100 insurance company defending clients challenged with complex, large exposure litigation.  Multi-party construction litigation, catastrophic personal injury cases, and complex state and federal court cases were the mainstay of Dan's practice as a defense attorney.  Further Dan handled errors and omissions litigation (or "E&O" cases) for a number of companies and individuals faced with cases challenging their professional abilities.  As an insurance defense attorney in an in-house office, Dan learned the value of an attorney not only getting results for his clients, but doing so in a cost effective and time sensitive manner.  Dan learned that getting a great result is a hollow victory if it took too long or cost the client too much to achieve.

After receiving a Bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Illinois College of Business, Dan received his J.D. law degree, cum laude, from the law school at DePaul University.  Dan additionally holds a M.B.A., with distinction, from DePaul University's Kellstadt School of Business. This affords Dan the opportunity to approach all cases, whether personal injury, construction, or commercial litigation, with a balanced perspective, able to see both sides of the issues faced by the parties.  This allows Dan to tailor the strategy for the case to the specific needs and wants of the client, while anticipating the moves the opposition may make throughout the course of the litigation.  Dan is an attorney who has taken cases to trial on behalf of clients in various counties in Illinois (in addition to his federal court experience), such as, Cook County, DuPage County, Kane County, and Will County.

Dan is more than just a trial lawyer as he has also filled many unique roles as an attorney outside of courtrooms, including administering tens of millions of dollars in class action settlements in environmental contamination cases in several states.  Dan Fabbri's experience is a huge reason he has been trusted by several well-known national and international professional medical societies as an adviser for not only legal matters, but also with respect to internal auditing, ethical matters, and focusing the direction of the organization for the future. Dan also enjoys putting his M.B.A. to work by acting as "outside counsel" to small businesses advising them on their day to day legal needs.  Dan's hands on approach, and business background, help him see the big picture and get to the heart of a legal matter quickly and efficiently.

Dan's diverse background as a successful trial attorney with numerous verdicts in favor of his clients also provides a solid foundation for his work as an arbitrator.  Since 2008 Dan has served as an arbitrator through the Illinois court annexed arbitration program and has arbitrated matters in DuPage County, Kane County, as well as Cook County.  Dan continues to act as an arbitrator regularly, which is both professionally rewarding, but also helps him broaden his experience as a lawyer, keeping him exposed to a variety of cases and current issues in a number of different areas of the law that impact litigants in cases throughout Illinois.  While these arbitrations often involve Illinois car accident lawsuits, other matters often make their way into the arbitration system.
